ABOUT PUSHPITA AWASTHI
Professor Pushpita Awasthi was born on 14th January 1960 in Kanpur, India. She studied at the renowned Banaras (Kashi) Hindu University, Varanasi, India, and later for 20 years headed the Department of Hindi at a constituent college of Banaras Hindu University till 2001.

Dr. Pushpita Awasthi is a renowned professor, writer and poet of Hindi. She is the chairperson of Acharya Kul, Wardha, India, an institution founded by the renowned Gandhian, Late Acharya Vinoba Bhave. She is actively involved in the promotion of Hindi language in countries like Suriname, the Carribean Islands, The Netherlands and others. Dr. Awasthi is closely associated with MIT World Peace University as its Global Ambassador for Peace and is actively working for the mission of Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad for promoting Culture of Peace in the world.
